DanceAway - Dancing School Bournemouth

DanceAway was launched in Bournemouth in September 2002, by Carol Rodulfo, and has since grown to a dancing school with approximately 100 pupils. The School offers classes for Children from 4 years upwards, and also a choice of daytime or evening classes for Adults of all ages.

Whether you are a new, improving or experienced dancer, you will be very welcome at DanceAway.

Carol is a fully qualified Dance Teacher, registered with the ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing), and also with the IDTA (International Dance Teachers Association). She holds Licentiate status with both Exam Boards, and has more recently completed her Certificate in Dance Education.

Carol is fully insured and CRB checked.

Carol has been teaching Ballroom dancing, Latin American dancing and Disco/Freestyle dance in the Bournemouth area for over 25 years, and has entered many Children for dance examinations.

During dance lessons, a variety of dances, routines and basics will be taught, from Waltz to Salsa, and Jive to Disco.

Children are encouraged to take Exams, although these are not compulsory. The School has a good reputation for Exam results, with a high percentage of pupils attaining Honours for their efforts.

Above all, the aim at DanceAway is to encourage the enjoyment of Dance as well as offering personal fulfilment to our students. In fact, much hidden confidence has been discovered through the pleasure of Dance, and many life long friendships have been founded on the dance floor !
